1) Overview & acceptance

ReadImple is a reader discovery tool that blends New York Times Best Sellers data, Google Books, Open Library, AI summaries and vendor pointers. By using the product (web or future native apps) you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and any feature-specific notices. If you do not agree, discontinue use.

2) Accounts & eligibility

Most features can be explored without an account. If you create one, you must provide accurate information, keep credentials private and be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your region). You are responsible for actions taken under your credentials and for promptly reporting suspected misuse to support@readimple.com.

3) Book data, AI output & attribution

Book metadata originates from third parties (NYT Books API, Google Books API, Open Library) and user scans. Logos, covers and trademarks remain property of their respective owners. AI insights (summaries, mood, reader fit, etc.) are generated dynamically for informational purposes and may contain errors. Do not treat AI output as fact without verifying the source material.

When you contribute content (for example, saved lists or notes) you grant ReadImple a non-exclusive licence to host, process and display it solely to operate the service. You retain ownership of your contributions.

4) Vendor links & bag

The in-app ‘Bag’ collects outbound vendor links for convenience. ReadImple is not a retailer, does not complete transactions and earns no commission unless explicitly stated. Prices, availability, formats and fulfilment are controlled entirely by each vendor. Always review details on the vendor’s site before purchasing. We are not responsible for losses related to third-party stores.

5) Acceptable use

You may not: (a) scrape or mass-download data without permission, (b) attempt to reverse engineer or attack the service, (c) use features for any illegal activity, or (d) misrepresent ReadImple as an official NYT product. Automated access is only permitted through documented APIs and rate limits.

6) Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, abuse the service or create risk for other readers. You may request deletion of your account by emailing support@readimple.com. Once deleted, some residual log data may remain for compliance purposes.

7) Disclaimers & limitation of liability

ReadImple is provided ‘as is’ without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted availability. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or losses caused by third-party services we reference (vendors, NYT, AI providers). Our total liability is limited to the greater of USD $50 or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (currently $0).

8) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product changes or legal requirements. Material updates will be announced via in-app notice or email (if available). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
